History

LifeSpring began as a church plant back in March of 2009. Before we met at our current location, we’d meet at Star Elementary School. We acquired the old Star Christian Church property and an empty shell of a building. Since then we’ve grown and are able to have an active role in our amazing community.

Our Mission

Helping People Find & Follow Jesus

Followers of Jesus are called to be disciple makers.
This is the process we encourage:

INVITE with love

Connect with Jesus

Grow with others
& The Bible

Go Help People Find
& Follow Jesus

Our Vision

LifeSpring Christian Church has a 10 year vision to become a network of 3 congregations; having intentionally discipled individuals and families to participate in Community impact, advancing the Gospel through planting two, independent "daughter churches" in the greater Star area while at the same time reflecting LifeSpring’s unique values."

Our Values

We value authenticity by sharing real-life stories while we minister.  God has not only redeemed our past, he is helping us in our present struggles.  We continue to rely on Jesus continuing to save us since we never reach full transformation until Heaven.
The Church is Christians doing life on life continually walking in the Spirit together.  We grow best in Jesus, connected to other Christians through Small Groups.
Everyone has a ‘next step’ in their spiritual journey towards being transformed into the image of Christ.  An obvious movement toward being spiritually mature is moving from things being just about ‘me’ to getting our focus outward on others and it being about ‘we.’
In order to be like Jesus we need to spend time with Jesus.  LifeSpring will always make it a priority to preach and study the Gospels as well as the rest of the Scriptures, emphasizing individuals to walk with Jesus daily.
We will love our community in practical ways aware of the spiritually lost.  We will do this through both our people and our building.
We believe people’s lives begin to line up with the Scriptures when they surrender to the Gospel message.  This does not happen overnight, so we will emphasize the saving work of Jesus and allow people to grow in their knowledge of the Scriptural teachings—Gospel first.
