Bible Passage: Mark 14:26-31
If you’ve ever felt disappointed with God, you’re not alone. The disciple Peter knew God face to face in Jesus and still was disappointed. Peter wanted Jesus to act like the God he expected Jesus should be, but was disappointed when Jesus had different plans. In this sermon, Pastor Tim takes a look at Peter’s experiences with disappointment and applies them to us today. If we take a step back and take a good look at why we’re disappointed, we’ll come to find out that our disappointment often comes from our own misunderstanding of who God is and what plans He has for us.
