This sermon from 1 John 2:23-29 is a nuts and bolts look at how to abide in Christ.
We have a tendency of moving toward extremes in our faith. We either try to get it all right and be perfect in our faith (legalism) or we say, “What’s the point because there’s nothing we can do to earn our salvation anyway?” Both extremes show a lack of abiding.
Abiding in Christ means understanding the yoke of Christ is easy. We don’t have to get it all right. Yet, it is important we become more like Jesus.
Join us as we find out what it means to abide in Christ and to allow Christ to abide in us.
