    The Lord’s Supper.

    The Eucharist.

    Communion.

Whatever we have grown to know it by, this is an important event in the life of a Christian.

But why? What, exactly, is it?

There’s something powerful about a dinner table.

In this sermon we look at the Lord’s Supper. We examine what, exactly, Jesus said and did during the Lord’s Supper. Ultimately, we look at what the Lord’s Supper means to you and to me today.

    Topic: Communion

    Communion.

Many churches (including LifeSpring) do it every week. But what is it?

The Apostle Paul tells the church of Corinth to take communion, “In a worthy manner.”

In this sermon, Dylan guides us through what that means.

hint: it has LESS to do with repentance and LESS to do with a somber, inward focus and MORE to do with the body of Christ.

    Speaker: Mike Maglish

In this sermon from Acts 20, Mike Maglish shares what the early church did to observe communion.  It was a very important part of the early church. It was a corporate act.

We still observe communion to this day. Jesus told us to break bread together. So we do.

Paul explained to the church in Corinth how to take communion and how not to take communion and why.

We will examine what biblical communion is, and how we should observe it today.  The bottom line? The broken body and shed blood of Jesus should be taken in a worthy manner.
