Branding.
It’s everywhere we look.
What do people THINK when they see you? What do they FEEL when they think about you?
Nonbelievers will think of us as FOOLS. But that is NOT how we are to respond to the world.
The church in Corinth was concerned about who they followed, and what that said about them. Unfortunately, their brand of Christianity was less about Christ and more about the Rabbi that taught them about Jesus.
Pursuing a brand of Christianity, instead of Christ, can be dangerous. Paul likens that kind of wisdom to being the same as that of the world.
This sermon is for anyone who believes their BRAND of Christianity is better than others. Be careful.

Proverbs 26:4 teaches us to “answer NOT a fool in his folly.” Makes sense, right? I mean, they are being foolish and it makes little sense to retort.
The very next verse says, “Answer a fool according to his folly.” Huh?
This sermon is about the wisdom in how we live our day to day lives and interact with others.
As believers, if we’re not careful, cautious, and wise we can end up speaking up when we should not. And we can end up remaining silent when we should speak up. This sermon is about how and when to know the difference.

The Minor Prophets is rich in life lessons. In fact, there is so much wisdom to be gained from them.
There are 12 minor prophets. In this sermon we receive an overview of this 400 year span in which they prophesied to the Northern and the Southern Kingdoms (as well as others).
What we’re going to see is that God is a loving God who is trying to get the attention of His people. And that still hasn’t changed. He’s still trying to get your attention and my attention.
These are the major lesson from the minor prophets…
