We like to quote scriptures from the Bible - especially when they are encouraging and help to life our spirits when life is difficult. One of the most quoted passages is Romans 8:28. In this verse there is a clear promise of "all things working together for good". We often think this is talking about our current situation being wrapped up nicely and neatly in a bow. But what if that's not what this is about? And what if this promise is only for certain people? And what if this promise is even better than we thought? This sermon from Romans 8:28 examines what the promise of good means to the Apostle Paul and why he uses this language.
