You are an Ambassador for Christ. Another word for that might be "spokesman" or "representative." Have you ever thought about what it means to be an ambassador? It's not that most Christians don't want to share their testimony. It's that most Christians don't exactly know how to share their testimony. One of the greatest examples in Scripture of "Sharing Your Story" can be found in John 9: The Blind man who can now see. So others have an opportunity to come face to face with a God who desperately wants to change their life as well.

How often do we pray for people? Every day? For how long? An hour? (Or a minute and a half?) We don't always want to pray for people. It's even harder when the people we are praying for are difficult, or mean to us. Colossians 4:2-4 teaches us about prayer. God deeply loves people and wants them to love Him back. When we pray for other people, especially if they are difficult or mean to us, we are meeting God right where He is. When we meet God where He is, we begin to take on His heart. And we understand why prayer for others matters so much.

Would you rather? We've all played that game as an ice breaker. Would you rather drink coke or Pepsi? Usually the questions are light and pretty fun. This sermon from 1 Corinthians 9 teaches us what we should "RATHER". It leads us to answer questions about what we really value and what matters to us. The Gospel should be at the top of the things we focus on. We should RATHER preach the Gospel... Because people are the prize. Because eternity is the goal.
